About Bamboo Trail

Enjoy the breathtaking bamboo forest while trekking this trail which also leads to the Blacksmith Trail. This trail also acts as a shortcut down from the blacksmith trail! The bamboo used in traditional Hmong paper-making is obtained from this forest. Visit A Cua's house at the bottom of the trail for a unique and once-in-a-lifetime paper-making experience.

What to Expect

Enjoy the breeze as you trek through the bamboo forest, and admire the bamboo stalks that reach into the sky on your way down from the Blacksmith Trail. Challenge yourself as you navigate through steep and rocky terrain. Be cautious but have fun!

 

What to Wear

It is important to wear a pair of comfortable sports shoes with good grip. The soil may be muddy and slippery at times.

  • Insect repellent

  • Cap / sunglasses

When is the best season for trekking?

Tourists can trek at any time of the year. The best season for trekking is Autumn (November to December) as it is relatively the driest season.
