Project Hua Tat was started in 2018 by the students of Singapore Management University with the vision to improve the livelihoods of the Hmong community in Hua Tat village, Vietnam. Its mission was to empower the community to achieve self-sustainability  and a better quality of life by themselves through community-based tourism. This was done through the teaching of English, Mathematics and Financial Literacy, developing and enhancing the tourism activities in Hua Tat and capacity-building efforts.

Over the past 4 years, we have had 3 installments of Project Hua Tat and Project Hua Tat 3, which concluded in January 2021, is the last installment of this project. We would like to thank all our members, past and present, for their hard work and dedication to this meaningful project.
